Food for thought

I love books that focus on eating well and with a family history of Alzheimer's, I liked the idea of learning about natural ways to improve memory and mood through food. I've read a lot about Omega-3s and how they can enhance your brain power. Besides Omega-3s, I learned about benefits of tryptophan, serotonin, and more. The food recommendations were backed with scientific data and recommendations on simple ways to include the foods into your daily diet. The meal plan made it easier for me to follow the recommendations and All of the meals were something I would eat, I recommend it as a quick read with some great tips.

Great information and simple and tasty recipes to put it all to good use, all in one book.

This book was recommended to me by a friend as we both like to lead the same type of lifestyles, and she really loved this book. I read it in one sitting as it's an easy read and shared it with my daughters who felt this was very beneficial to all of us. We learned that so many of the foods we like and already eat could be used to help with our ever changing moods and that we should reach for them before we give into our not so good choices. Having simple recipes on hand to incorporate into our busy schedules is a plus and being able to carry this e-book around with me is a bonus. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants help with their memory improvement and depression. Job well done.

Great book with delicious recipes!

This eBook is packed with great information! It's comforting that the author uses science and research to back up the claims in the book.

Each brain food has examples of how they can be eaten, which helps. I like how even the snacks include brain foods and they are easy to take on the road or keep in my purse/gym bag.

The meal plan makes sense and it is practical - it doesn't require you to go out and buy different food every day. Some of the meals are recycled, which helps when you are shopping for 1 person.

I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to reboot and sharpen their mind. It has practical suggestions and delicious recipes!
