WONDERFUL book about the true meaning of Christmas!

I LOVE this book! It is very warmly written, comprised of Christmas poems and stories, and recollections, recipes, and craft ideas from both the Grahams and others. It is hard to believe the modest price for such a beautiful hardcover book.
The crafts are lovely, but comparatively [inexpensive]and easy, designed so you can make them with your kids. (I'm childless and have no nieces or nephews, but even I loved this.) The book is truly wonderful and very highly recommended.

Another lovely treat from the Grahams

This beautiful book is the second Christmas one from the Grahams that I've gotten, and their work is as moving as ever. Just about every seasonal treat you could ask for is here: the lyrics to classic Christmas hymns, original poetry, the histories behind Christmas traditions, lovely winter and Christmas pictures, Christmas tales both classic and new, delicious recipes for the season, and even craft-making that children could enjoy. I was a little disappointed that only two or three of Ruth Bell Graham's own poems were in here (and these were ones I already have in their other book, "This Christmas Night"), but the beautiful poetry of the Christmas hymns and the original poems by different authors more than made up for it. This book is a gem to be treasured!

After viewing this book on line and considering its price, the choice was easy. Little did I realize the contents of this book would transform most any moment of the day into a "Quiet Knowing" as it recalls precious memories, recipes, and events of yesterday and affirms that we must insure that these moments are never lost.
